How this works

Recall Radar reads the agencies' own feeds directly — openFDA enforcement reports, FDA recall announcements, the CPSC recall database and the USDA FSIS feed — and merges them into one list. Every recall gets its own page with the reason, the recalling company, where the product was distributed and a link to the official notice. Severity follows the agencies' classes: Class I means a reasonable probability of serious health consequences or death, Class II temporary or reversible effects, Class III unlikely to cause harm. CPSC doesn't use classes, so its hazard language is read instead.
